In an interview with a leading daily, the light-eyed-beauty mentioned that she has worked enough in the industry to understand the nuances of direction and would like to give it a shot. Aish said, "Direction does interest me. In a few years from now, I will surely turn director. All my directors and co- stars have teased me about it. Even AB (Abhishek Bachchan) tells me that I should explore it".
However, the mother-of-one is sure that whenever direction happens for her, she's not going to take it for granted. She explained, "When I do direct, I will throw myself whole- heartedly in it. It will never be a fly- by-night commitment for me, as my work consumes me completely. Even though I had only four scenes in Fanney Khan, I would have endless talks with Atul Manjrekar (the director) to understand them fully".
In Fanney Khan, Aishwarya is playing the character of a international pop sensation. The film also features Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Divya Dutta in other pivotal roles.
