Priyanka became an international star after starring in Quantico and even won People’s Choice Awards for her portrayal of the FBI agent. She made her Hollywood debut opposite Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron in Baywatch and also starred alongside Claire Danes and Jim Parsons in the film A Kid Like Jake. She has finished shooting for her third film Isn’t It Romantic? with Rebel Wilson and Liam Hemsworth. If reports are to be believed, she has also signed Cowboy Ninja Viking opposite Chris Pratt and will start filming soon.
Priyanka was all set to get back to Bollywood with Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat opposite Salman Khan but she backed out of the project at the last minute. Speculations were rife that she backed out of the film because of her engagement with American singer-songwriter Nick Jonas. Zafar took to social media to share the news of her exit and his cryptic tweet hinted at the engagement. PeeCee and Nick have been going steady for a few months and have been clicked by paparazzi on various occasions enjoying romantic dates. Apparently, Nick proposed to Priyanka on her birthday with a ring from Tiffany’s store in NYC and they reportedly got engaged.
