2018 will probably be remembered as the year for reunions. Many co-stars who shared screen space years ago came together to star in different films this year. Right from Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor in 102 Not Out to Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit in Kalank to Madhuri and Anil Kapoor in Total Dhamaal to Anil and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Fanney Khan, to Sanjay and Manisha Koirala in Prasthaanam there have been a reunion of sorts all over. Now, the latest to join the bandwagon is Rishi and Juhi Chawla.

Rishi and Juhi who starred in many films in the 90s and were a hit pair giving several blockbusters are reportedly coming together for another film. They did successful films like Bol Radha Bol, Eena Meena Deeka and Daraar and now the buzz is that a new director has signed them for his upcoming film. Given their crackling chemistry and adorable pairing on screen we can’t wait for the two versatile and spontaneous actors to come together in the same scene.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rishi’s latest film Mulk opposite Taapsee Pannu has released. The film is directed by Anubhav Sinha but unfortunately has been banned in Pakistan and did not do a great first-day collection at the box office.

On the other hand, Juhi is looking forward to the release of her film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga that also stars Anil, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles. The film is directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar and once again reunites Juhi with his 80s and 90s co-star Anil.

Recently, Juhi expressed a desire that if one of her films has to be remade she would like Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani to be remade with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. Juhi starred and co-produced the film with her co-star Shah Rukh Khan.
