After a long hiatus, Bobby Deol made a comeback to Hindi films with Salman Khan's Race 3. The actor is currently shooting for Sajid Khan's Housefull 4 and will also be reuniting with his father Dharmendra and brother Sunny Deol in Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se. Now in a recent interview with a leading daily, the actor talked about taking the Yamla Pagla Deewana franchise forward.
The Deol trio will share space after a gap of 5 years in the upcoming film. When asked on how it is work with the other two, Bobby said, "It’s always exciting working with dad and my brother. I wish I could do more work with them but it takes time to find good a script. This franchise itself is returning after four years."
When further prodded if it has got easier with time, the actor revealed that during their first film Apne, he was quite nervous to share screen space with someone who he had looked up to all his life but it certainly got better with time. He added that his father Dharmendra is an amazing co-star, who encourages everyone to improvise.
Interestingly, the third installment of the comic caper will see Bobby recreating his dad's iconic scene from Sholay, not once but thrice. On being asked about it, Bobby said, "This time it was different. Yes, there are moments that resembled what dad had done in his films, including Sholay. It’s fun, who better than his sons to do what he has done before We look alike and there are similarities…"
Meanwhile, the third installment in the franchise is not a continuation of the earlier parts but has a completely new story with the leads playing new characters. Binnu Dhillon, Johny Lever, Gurmeet Saajan and Rana Ranbir along with Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Rekha will be seen in the film at various junctures.
