Ranveer Singh is gearing up for his next film, '83, directed by Kabir Khan. The preparations on the film has begun and it's going on floors early next year. Ranveer, as he got time between the shoot of Rohit Shetty's directorial Simmba, visited Lord's stadium in London.
Kabir, who is still working on finalising the rest of the cast, wanted Ranveer to have a real experience on ground. Therefore, he took him to watch a test match between India and England in the Lord's the other day. It turned out that the two bumped into former legendary Indian cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar there... which means social media has photos of the three together.

In '83, Kabir is going to recreate the entire cricket history of India winning its first world cup in 1983. Ranveer plays the character of one of the most loved cricket captains, Kapil Dev, in the film.
The director has further decided to shoot the film on real locations and keep the fervour of the film as real as possible. Ranveer has been meeting various cricketers and practicing the game to prep for his character in the film.
'83 is set for release on April 10, 2020.
