Bhushan Kumar's ambitious project, Mogul, a biopic on the life of his father, has been put on a hold for a while. The rumours are rife that after having Aamir Khan on board as the co-producer of the film, Mogul is going to get a makeover, which also includes a change in the title.
A leading Bollywood portal has learnt that the Gulshan Kumar biopic is being reworked and Aamir is thoroughly planning all the strategies for the film. That's also the reason why no official announcement has been made by T-Series about the change in the title and other modifications.

The portal quoted a source saying, "Yes, Bhushan Kumar is contemplating on changing the title of Mogul. But right now it is still too early to discuss details. Also with Aamir Khan joining the venture as a co-producer under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, most of the details are being kept tightly under wraps. Knowing how Aamir operates, details of the film will be released in a timely fashion only after everything has been locked".
Earlier, the film was announced with Akshay Kumar playing the titular character. However, it was in the last month itself that the actor confirmed he's no longer a part of the film. He cited date issues and a bit of script change as his reasons behind leaving the film.
He also mentioned that the poster of the film which featured him as Gulshan Kumar was actually digitally created and he never shot for the film. Other contenders in the list to play the character are Ranbir Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput.
With Aamir Khan on board, changes are bound to be introduced. Let's wait for something new!
