Reema Kagti directed Gold is all ready to hit the theatres on August 15. The film starring Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy, Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Singh and Sunny Kaushal is based on India’s first gold medal win as a free nation at the London Olympics in 1948. Now as India celebrates 70 years of free India's first Gold, the makers of the film have brought together the biggest sports legends in the nation to share their feeling of Gold.
Marking the iconic victory are biggest sports legends, including Kapil Dev, P.R. Sreejesh, Sunil Chhetri, Sania Mirza, Abhinav Bindra, Vijender Singh, Deepak Mallik, P.V. Sindhu, Balbir Singh and Sachin Tendulkar. In a latest video, all the sports personalities resonate with the patriotic feeling as they share their pride and happiness on witnessing the tri colour flying high after winning Gold.

Interestingly Balbir Singh, who was one among the ones who formed the legendary team winning India's first Gold, also opened up about his experience. The hockey player shared, "After winning the gold medal, it felt like as our flag is flying high, I am soaring with it too."

The trailer evoked the inner patriotism of the audience with the heart-tugging trailer. Recently, the makers shared another trailer for the IMAX format showcasing the importance of unity within the team. The film has been shot across the UK and India, capturing the fascinating aspects of the pre-independent era.
