Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sui Dhaaga-Made in India’s trailer was released today and we must say it has left a sense of excitement and motivation in us. Varun’s Mauji and Anushka’s Mamta has managed to carve a place in our hearts with their inspiring and brave journey. The trailer shows Varun doing odd jobs but on Anushka’s insistence and support he embarks on a successful journey of being self-employed from being unemployed.

Here are 5 things that we loved about Sui Dhaaga-Made in India’s trailer.

Varun Dhawan

Varun has proved that he is the next superstar among the younger crop of actors. With most of his films becoming superhits, the actor is fast becoming every producer's and director’s first choice for the male lead. In Sui Dhaaga-Made in India’s trailer, Varun has managed to impress with his rustic accent and his command over the dialect. His humour quotient is also bang-on especially since he plays the role of the narrator in the trailer as well. Varun’s acting is such that when one sees the trailer one doesn’t see Varun but instead have our hopes pinned on Mauji.

Anushka Sharma

Anushka’s saree-clad housewifely avatar is a revelation from the urbane chic that she usually plays. She is the motivating factor behind Varun’s character in the film and pushes him to achieve the unthinkable and turn around his family’s fortunes. She is poignant and leaves a mark in all the scenes that she features in as Mauji's wife, Mamta.

Raghubir Yadav

The ace actor comes on screen after some time but he is downright funny and hilarious in the scenes that he appears in. Playing the role of Varun’s disappointed father in the film, Raghubir nails his act effortlessly.

The Emotions

The film is high on emotions and will make you cry a river. We advise taking a big box of tissues or a big handkerchief along with you when you go to watch the film in the theatres. The struggles of a failed married man and his pursuit of earning a living and respect in his wife's eyes is a relatable tale, along with the financial constraints and challenges to fulfill one's dreams. Setup in the heartland of Chanderi, the film'emotions are earnest and grounded.

The Story

Directed by Sharat Katariya the film harps on the fact that it is better to be self-employed and take the plunge than to be a poor servant of someone. It also has the Government of India’s ambitious project Make In India as its backdrop and that is surely going to strike a chord with the audience. The Swadeshi emotion runs high in the film and will definitely inspire many people to take up their dreams as a career choice.

Sui Dhaaga – Made in India releases on September 28, and we can’t wait for it to hit the theatres.
