On the special occasion of India's Independence Day, superstar Salman Khan took a step to make the day even more special for his fans with a little treat. After taking over the box office with his last multi-starrer action drama film, Race 3, Salman began working on his next venture - Bharat, which also translates to India. Celebrating the spirit of the day, he unveiled the first teaser of the film on Twitter.

Bharat is yet another multi-starrer featuring Salman in the lead with Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Tabu, Sunil Grover in important roles. The film is an official adaptation of the South Korean film, Ode to My Father and is the story of a man who is separated from his family during the war and the journey of how he reunites with them. For the film, Salman will also don multiple looks that will age from youth to old age.

Taking to his Twitter, he wrote, "Kuch Rishte Zameen se hote hai, Aur kuch Khoon se... Mere Paas Dono Thee!" meaning, some relations are with the land and some with the blood, I had both! Later, Salman's sister Alvira Agnihotri's husband and the producer of Bharat, Atul Agnihotri also shared the same on his Instagram handle.

The film is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar who previously worked with the leading stars in his last film Tiger Zinda Hai. The first schedule of its primary filming has wrapped in Mumbai where they shot for the Circus sequences. This is also said to be Salman's introductory scene in the film. Currently, the team is in Malta for the second schedule. Salman had taken to his Instagram handle to share his "excitement" for the film.
