Sonali Bendre's son Ranveer Behl thanks everyone for support as his mother battles cancer

Actress Sonali Bendre, who won millions of hearts in the 90’s, took everyone by surprise when she revealed on July 4 that she has been diagnosed with high-grade cancer. She is currently stationed in New York City as she is undergoing treatment. In fact, she has been fighting the dreaded disease with a big smile on her face and her family standing strong behind her.

While her husband Goldie Behl and son Ranveer Behl are her pillars of strength in these troubled times, her friends Susanne Roshan and Gayatri Oberoi have been giving her support and all the love she needs. Moreover, prayers and wishes have been pouring in for the actress from her fans and friends in the Bollywood fraternity.

Now thanking everyone for the support, her son Ranveer took to Instagram to share a note for all those who have given him strength in the tough times. He also posted a picture of himself, where he is seen with a light ring around him.

Meanwhile, Ranveer turned 13 earlier this week. Sonali took to Instagram to share a heartfelt note on his birthday as she missed her son. Referring to her son as, “My sun, my moon, my stars, my sky...”, she wrote that when she left him here for her treatment, he was just another child but has now turned into a teenager.

Earlier too, Sonali had shared a post on Instagram with her son Ranveer, stating how the family has “switched on the sunshine” and how her 12-year-old son has become her “source of strength”. Sonali has once again proved that the woman is a braveheart. When generally the majority of people would like to shield their children from harsh realities, she has come out to reveal that her young son is well aware of her predicament.
