Saturday was nothing short of grand as Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas made their relationship official with a roka ceremony in Mumbai and hosted an engagement party for really close friends and family in the evening. After the do, Priyanka’s sister, actress Parineeti Chopra posted a picture with her “Brother-in-law and sis” and the internet, to say the least, is delighted.

For the after party, Priyanka wore a dress accessorized with a statement diamond neck piece while Nick wore a tee and denim. Parineeti, on the other hand, looked pretty in a black dress.

Congratulatory messages poured in for the couple on Parineeti’s post while the picture garnered over 4 lakh likes within an hour of being made available online. Several fans also praised Priyanka’s outfit, adding that she redefined elegance with her attire for the party.

Nick arrived in Mumbai with his parents Denise and Kevin Jonas on Friday night. The roka, held on August 18 at Priyanka’s residence, was attended by Arpita Khan Sharma and Shrishti Behl Arya apart from Parineeti – she had also posted a heartfelt note for her didi after the roka.

Priyanka, for her roka, looked resplendent in a yellow outfit by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla while Nick was handsome in white.

Priyanka, 36 and Nick, 25, met at the Met Gala in 2017 while reports suggest that both started dating a couple of months ago. Several quarters of the press are of the opinion that Nick proposed to Priyanka on her birthday on July 18 in London.

Workwise, Priyanka is currently busy with Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink, co-starring Farhan Akhtar.

Nick is an American singer, known for his songs Jealous, Chains and Close.
