Priyanka Chopra's and Nick Jonas' Engagement: Here’s all that happened in two days

August 18, 2018, will soon become one historic day! Why, do you ask? Well, Priyanka Chopra announced her relationship with American singer Nick Jonas and thus, made it official. The world ‘lost its chill’ and rightfully so. With tears of happiness and sadness, culminating in one big river of emotions, the NickYanka engagement was “major feels.” Now that the first of the endless saga is officially over, here we have listed all the events that unfolded in the past two days.

First and foremost, Priyanka made an announcement and asked her close friends and family to save the date on Saturday, August 18 for a special announcement. That was it. On August 17, when the clock struck midnight, Nick made an epic entry at the Mumbai Airport. While the paparazzi tried chasing him, a bigger surprise waited behind, and that was Nick’s parents, Kevin Jonas and Denise Jonas. That isn’t it. Priyanka was there at the airport to receive them as well!

The same night, Priyanka’s Mumbai residence was decked up with pretty lights and a grassy background that covered most of her balcony. The next morning, a total of five Hindu priests made their way to her home to perform their roka ceremony. And what followed, was a few selected pictures from it.

Soon after the roka was over, our desi girl made her relationship with Nick official on social media. Next, she posted another album with her new family. Nick followed suit. The couple continued their social media PDA with Nick commenting on PC’s post. Many international and Bollywood celebs extended their wishes for the couple.

As the afternoon sun set into a beautiful evening, a starry party was held at her residence. Bollywood stars including Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Vishal Bhardwaj, Arpita Khan Sharma, Aayush Sharma, Mushtaq Sheikh, and the Ambanis made their way and joined the family. Karan Johar, who failed to make it to the party, sent a huge flower bouquet for the couple.

Inside the closed door, was a relaxed house party as opposed to the starry event. From casual selfies to Nick head bobbing to a song with Priyanka dancing, the night witnessed it all.
