Watch: Anushka receives a flying kiss from hubby Virat Kohli as he scores his 23rd century

Virat Kohli proved once again that he is the best cricketer in the world as he scored his 23^rd Test century at the Trent Bridge test yesterday. Team India is currently touring England and continues to be in control of the third Test as well. Kohli scored the century in the 92^nd over when India’s score was 279/3. In the previous match, Virat had missed scoring his century as he got dismissed at 97 runs. However, the adorable thing was that after scoring his century Virat blew a flying kiss to wife Anushka Sharma who was cheering him from the stands.

With this century Virat has broken Mohammad Azharuddin’s record of 426 runs to become the Indian captain with most runs in a series in England. Virat was ably seconded by Cheteshwar Pujara and they put up a 113 run partnership. Anushka and Virat who got married last year in Italy have been trying to make time for each other through their hectic work commitments. Anushka has flown to the United Kingdom to be with Virat during the Test series.

Anushka was also there when he had scored his 22^nd century. At that time Virat had kissed his wedding ring which he wears on a chain around his neck after scoring the ton. He also pointed his bat towards her and blew a flying kiss. Over the years, Virat has emerged as one of the best cricketers the nation has ever witnessed and he has been breaking records left, right and centre. He had often gone on record stating that Anushka has been his motivation and support system which enabled him to achieve more and do better. Anushka applauded her hubby too on his milestone.

Meanwhile, Anushka is looking forward to the release of her film Sui Dhaaga- Made in India in which she teams up with Varun Dhawan. Written and directed by Sharat Katariya and produced by Maneesh Sharma the film is an inspiring tale of self-reliance and fulfilling dreams. The film releases on September 28. She also has Aanand L Rai's Zero opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
