Bobby Deol has got a new lease of life after the release of Race 3. While Bobby's physique in the film and his shirtless act on screen was praised by the audience, the film failed to live up to the expectations of the audience and the critics alike. The film was not only trolled for its roles and dialogues but also served as fodder for several memes on social media.
Now in a recent interaction with a news agency, Bobby opened up about his comeback film and the negativity surrounding it. "There was a lot of negativity for the film from the word go. I don't know what it was, why it was. No film gets so much negativity before a release. It was being trolled for everything and anything. But Salman Khan's power is Salman Khan's power."
Directed by Remo D'souza, the film was the third installment of the popular franchise and featured Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem in pivotal roles.
Talking about how the film was not appreciated, Bobby added, "You don't want to hit a century and lose the match. You want your team to win. Sometimes even victories are not appreciated. I think Race 3 is like that - it was victorious but wasn't appreciated".

Despite everything, the film raked in over Rs 100 crore at the box-office and Bobby was all praises for Salman. "His (Salman's) film is a bigger hit than someone else's big hit. He is an angel. There's no way he's going to stop being who he is. He's a wonderful person," he added.
On the work front, Bobby will also be seen in Housefull 4 that also stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde. He is also looking forward to the release of the third installment of his film franchise Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se, which also stars his brother Sunny Deol and father Dharmendra.
