Legendary actor Dharmendra's grandson Karan Deol is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. The film, directed by dad Sunny Deol, will launch his son, who will be the third generation actor from the Deol family in Hindi films. The shooting of the film had begun in earnest in February but had come to an abrupt halt when the 22-year-old Karan suffered an injury while shooting for a song in Manali.
When Sunny was asked about his son's debut at a promotional event for Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se, he told a leading news agency, "When I came in the industry was I mentally prepared. I am sure he is coming in his own way the way I came in. Rest is up to him how he portrays himself, the subjects he chooses, how he does the job and that is all up to him. As a father, I am always there with him. But I can't go and work for him or select things for him. It is up to us what we become as individuals."
It seems the doting father wants his son to carve his own path in the industry.
Moreover, Sunny was also asked if he has any plans to witness a biopic on his father Dharmendra, to which he replied, "It is going to be a very difficult job as you would need a director and writer who could actually spent two-three years and sit and not make something just like that but rather work on the subject and get the nuances right."

On the work front, Sunny is currently awaiting the release of the third installment of the Yamla Pagla Deewana series. The film will see him featuring along with Bobby Deol and Dharmendra. Buzz is that Sunny will also be collaborating with filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi after a long hiatus of 22 years.
