From winning the Miss World pageant in 2000 to becoming a global icon, Priyanka Chopra has become a name to reckon with in both Bollywood and Hollywood. Her family has always been a great support for her and time and again, she has mentioned how much she misses her late father, Dr. Ashok Chopra.
Now on her father's birth anniversary today, the 36-year-old actress took to social media to share an emotional video remembering him. Captioning it as "Dad. U r so missed. Happy birthday. Always and forever", the video features some throwback pictures of her dad along with some family pictures. It has Fathers and Daughters by Michael Bolton playing in the background and it will certainly leave you teary-eyed.

For the uninitiated, Priyanka's father had retired from the army in 1997 as a lieutenant colonel. He passed away in 2013 after battling cancer and breathed his last on June 10. On several instances, the actress has mentioned that she has never been able to come to terms with her father's demise. PeeCee also has a tattoo on her wrist which reads, "Daddy's lil girl" in her father's handwriting.
Meanwhile, Priyanka has been grabbing headlines for a long time now for her relationship with American singer Nick Jonas. The two made their relationship official on August 18 in a traditional roka ceremony followed by an engagement bash, which was a close-knit affair.
On the work front, she has wrapped up her Hollywood projects and has already started shooting for her next film, Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink. The film also stars Farhan Akhtar along with Zaira Wasim. She was also supposed to be a part of Salman Khan's Bharat but moved out of it just 10 days before the shoot.
