Soon after Nora Fatehi’s version of Dilbar from John Abraham’s film Satyameva Jayate released in July, all eyes were on Sushmita Sen as folks were waiting for her reaction to it. Sushmita, who featured in the original version of the song in 1999’s Sirf Tum, has finally expressed her opinion on the redux, saying that she loved Nora in it.
While speaking to a leading entertainment daily on the sidelines of the Lakme Fashion Week on Thursday, Sushmita was asked about her reaction to the Satyameva Jayate song. Dilbar has been remade well, Sushmita said, adding that Nora “absolutely killed it”. The 42-year-old actress, however, also said that although Nora is great, she still prefers the original version over the redux.

"Nora was absolutely fantastic in it and my favourite part of this song are the first two lines, which they added (in the revamped version) and is very well done. The remix is also very well done. Nora has absolutely killed it but I still like the original version more,” Sushmita told the daily.
Definitely, Sushmita. True that Nora displayed killer dance steps in her version of Dilbar but we can never get over Sushmita’s sultry show in the original song.

Meanwhile, Sushmita also spoke of her comeback in the Hindi film industry and said that she is currently reading several scripts and has zeroed in on two projects. The actress, however, refused to disclose any further information to the daily and said that she will announce her decision at the right time.
Sushmita, star of films Biwi No.1, Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai, Main Hoon Na and Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?, was last seen in Bollywood in 2010’s No Problem. Five years later, she appeared in the Bengali film Nirbaak.
Nora Fatehi, meanwhile, will be seen in Salman Khan’s 2019 Eid release Bharat.
