Speculations were rife for long that filmmaker Anees Bazmee, who last struck gold with Arjun Kapoor starrer Mubarakan, was keen to rope in actors Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor for his next comic caper. But PeepingMoon confirmed it to you that John Abraham has replaced Ajay Devgn in Anees upcoming film, which was tentatively titled Saadhe Satti.

It is learnt that Ajay opted out of the film due to date issues. But now it seems, even Anil would not be a part of the film. As per a report in a leading trade website, the filmmaker is all set to bring the Dostana jodi – John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan on the screen once again. Apparently, the film is finally going on floors and the film's title has been changed to Pagalpanti. The report further suggests that Kumar Mangat has come on board as a producer.

Well, with Abhishek and John reuniting after a hiatus of 10 years, the film will undoubtedly live up to its title. Moreover, we still cannot get over their kick ass chemistry and funny antics when they first appeared on screen in Karan Johar's Dostana.

Earlier reports had suggested that the film revolves around the Hindu belief that the bad luck caused due to the influence of Shani aka Saturn lasts for seven and a half years. Bazmee plans to shoot the film this November. With no official confirmation yet, we will have to wait for further details.

John and Anees had earlier worked together in Welcome Back which was appreciated by the masses. The actor had then expressed his desire to do another romantic comedy with the filmmaker and Pagalpanti appears to be it. Abhishek, on the other hand, is returning to films after a gap of two years with Anurag Kashyap's Manmarziyaan. The film also features Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu alongside Abhishek.
