Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Rajkummar Rao are coming together for the first time in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga. The film, helmed by Shelly Dhar, sister of filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra, also brings together daddy Anil Kapoor and daughter Sonam on the silver screen. The teaser of the film was released in June and Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga has been creating a buzz for all the right reasons.

However, it looks like Sonam and co-star Rajkummar will have to re-shoot certain portions of the film. As per a report in a leading daily, producer Vidhu is not satisfied with the rushes and has asked the two stars to reshuffle their other film commitments to accommodate for the re-shoot of the film.

As expected, the sudden turn of events did put the two actors in a dilemma. A source revealed to the daily, "Sonam starts shooting for The Zoya Factor today onwards and has allotted bulk dates to the project till the year-end. Rajkummar too is dividing his time between Stree promotions and the shoots of Made In China and Mental Hai Kya."

But apart from their fondness for the filmmaker, both Sonam and Rajkummar felt that the film has the potential to strike a chord with the audience and thus, agreed to dedicate more time to the project. "Ever since Vidhu sir expressed his reservations about the product, the stars have been trying to reshuffle their dates. It has now been decided that Sonam and Raj will honour their prior commitments through the week and will forgo their day offs over the weekends to shoot the said portions in Mumbai. They are required to allot 15 days, and hope to wrap up the portions by the end of September," the source added.

Meanwhile, the film has to be wrapped up on time to avoid missing its release date of February 1.

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is centered on Sweety Chaudhary and her travails with love. Themes of marriage and infidelity are fused into this premise. The film also stars Juhi Chawla in a pivotal role.
