Bollywood actor, Aditya Pancholi who was under trial since 2015 for an assault case has now been acquitted by a Bandra Court. The case against Aditya was dismissed due to lack of proper evidence.

In 2015, Aditya had allegedly misbehaved with a bouncer of a nightclub. Reportedly, the actor had assaulted the bouncer with his cellphone. A case was registered against the actor at Santacruz Police station and he was later duly arrested.

However, he was given a bail after paying a fine of Rs 50,000.

Though Aditya was out on bail, he was under trial. The Bandra Court on September 4, 2018, dismissed the charges of 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means) and section 504 (intentional insult) as filed against him by the Santacruz police. The court observed that none of the evidences provided against Aditya were strong enough to prove him guilty.

Aditya has also been in controversies for misbehaving with Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut. The talented actress had alleged that Aditya physically assaulted her when they were in a relationship. There were a lot of allegations and cross-allegations between both parties which became the talk of the town. Aditya had called Kangana a "mad girl" and even sent a defamation notice. Aditya's wife Zarina Wahab had also supported him and criticised Kangana's actions heavily. Further, Aditya's son Sooraj Pancholi has faced a lot of heat after Jiah Khan's suicide. The actress in her last letter had alleged Sooraj for being the reason which made her take her life. She had alleged Sooraj Pancholi for physically abusing her and causing physical and mental torture.

Meanwhile, Aditya was last seen in films like Bajirao Mastani and Mumbai Can Dance Saala. Now that Aditya is free from these charges levied against him in 2015, we hope he stays away from controversies.
