Rajkummar Rao’s new film Stree is performing exceptionally well at the box office while the actor has impressed fans and critics with his role of a tailor in the project as well. But when Rajkummar was informed about his part in the film, he came up with the most hilarious reaction ever as told by director Amar Kaushik during an interview with a leading website.
Amar met Rajkummar at film festivals quite frequently and had decided that only the actor could play Vicky in Stree. So, when he approached the 34-year-old actor for the film, Rajkummar, in a mirthful response, asked for a sewing machine to prepare for his character in the film.
"Raj and I would often meet during film festivals and when I had to choose an actor for the character Vicky (in Stree) it had to be Raj. When I told him that he was playing a tailor’s part, his immediate reaction was, ‘Okay, send a sewing machine to my house, I will learn tailoring’. Raj makes your work easy," Amar told the website.
Well, that’s just Rajkummar being Rajkummar!
