Aamir Khan is working with Amitabh Bachchan for the first time in Thugs Of Hindostan and is certainly ecstatic about it. In an interview with a leading daily, Aamir described his fanboy moment while recalling his first day on the set of the Vijay Krishna Acharya-directed film with Big B.
The 53-year-old actor has been a fan of Big B ever since and struggled to manage himself in front of the senior actor on the first day of rehearsal. While reading scenes, Aamir said, that he found it difficult to remember his lines and also fumbled during conversations. Aamir was, naturally, nervous on set in the presence of Big B. Starstruck, absolutely, in fact.

"I have been a huge fan of Mr Bachchan all along. (During) the first day of rehearsals, when we were sitting and reading scenes together, it was a fanboy moment for me. I couldn't speak properly or remember my lines, and I was all over the place. Every day that I sat next to him has been a joy for me,” Aamir told the daily.
Thugs Of Hindostan is based on Philip Meadows Taylor's 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug and casts Aamir as the protagonist. The film is a fantasy action-adventure and co-stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
According to several media reports, Thugs Of Hindostan is one of the most expensive films to have been made in Bollywood. The cast and crew shot for the film at exotic locations, including Malta, in order to bring alive the amalgamation of fantasy and reality onscreen.
Thugs Of Hindostan is scheduled to release on Diwali.
