Kangana Ranaut's film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is all set to be out with its teaser, despite being involved in numerous controversies. The teaser is slated to launch on Gandhi Jayanti, i.e. October 2, 2018, with the trailer being targeted for mid-November. Kangana who has now taken the charge to direct the film as well and is keen to give it her own touches with the help from action director Nick Powell. She along with the makers is reshooting the major portions of the film.
The actress was recently spotted in blood while shooting an action sequence for the film. In the picture, Kangana is seen listening to the narration and checking the frame as we all she is known for her perfection and wants to give the best shot. Kangana is also set to incorporate a larger-than-life song in the film which will feature herself along with Ankita Lokhande. The song will be choreographed by ace choreographer Ganesh Acharya.
The film recently made headlines when after actor Sonu Sood walked out of the project. Kangana alleged that Sonu did not want to work under a woman director and that he, therefore, refused to shoot for a few portions of the film.
Manikarnika is a biopic on Queen of Jhansi, Laxmi Bai and is slated to release on January 25 and Kangana is giving more than her 100 percent to finish the shoot before time so that the film releases on the decided date.
