Akshay Kumar turns 51: Here's how wife Twinkle Khanna wished the birthday boy

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are certainly one of Bollywood's most loved couples. Over the years, Akshay and his wife Twinkle have not only given us couple goals but also delightful social media moments to cherish for life. Now as the actor turned 51 today, Twinkle shared an adorable message for him on his special day.

Posting a group photo from Akshay's birthday celebration, Twinkle wrote, "Sometimes when you don’t plan things - it all falls in place - Happy Birthday to my lovely Mr K! #birthdaybumps" Isn't that adorable?

Akshay celebrated his birthday with Twinkle and went for a private dinner at a popular eatery in Mumbai. The couple was joined in by Akshay's close actor-friend Bobby Deol and his wife Tania Deol along with industrialist Sunny Dewan with wife Anu Dewan. They all had a blast together till the wee hours of the morning.

To say the least, Akshay is certainly ageing like fine wine. When asked about what keeps him going even at this age, he told a leading daily, "I actually don’t take this stress of the number in my head about turning 50, 51, 55, 60, or whatever. A couple of days back, I was giving a shot for Housefull 4 and the jump wasn’t required, but I still did it. I forget that I’m 51 now and I should keep away from it... I’m still thinking that I am in my Khiladi times and just doing action."

Well, we all should perhaps abide by Akshay's mantra of life.

On the work front, Akshay will be seen next in Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 and periodic drama Kesari alongside Parineeti Chopra. Apart from that, Akshay also has Sajid Khan's Housefull 4 in the pipeline.
