Shraddha Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor are all set to reunite on the silver screen with Shree Narayan Singh's social drama, Batti Gul Meter Chalu. Both the actors last appeared together in Vishal Bharadwaj's 2014 film, Haider. While Shraddha is currently riding high on the success of her last film Stree, Shahid is extremely happy in his personal life with the birth of his baby boy Zain Kapoor.

Today, during a media interaction, when Shraddha was asked about the new addition in his co-star's life, to which she said, "I have met Misha (Kapoor) a few times, she came on the sets of Batti Gul Meter Chalu. She is too cute and so much fun. But, no, I have not met the baby boy. I haven't actually met Shahid also yet. But, I did congratulate him."

Shahid and his wife Mira Rajput welcomed their second child on September 5. In fact, the actor resumed work for Batti Gul Meter Chalu just a day after Mira was discharged from the hospital and they both took Zain home.

Meanwhile, Shahid's and Shraddha's upcoming film addresses the problems of electricity and its shortage, especially in the rural areas. Produced by T-series and Krti Pictures, the film is slated to release on September 21.

On the work front, both of them have an interesting lineup of films. Besides BGMC, Shraddha will be making her debut in the South film industry in Saaho, which will pair her opposite Prabhas for the first time. She will also play the titular role in the Saina Nehwal biopic. Shahid, on the other hand, will be seen in the Hindi remake of Telugu film, Arjun Reddy.
