The first song from Arjun Kapoor’s and Parineeti Chopra’s new film Namaste England, titled Tere Liye, has been released and it is a beautiful romantic melody. Tere Liye is like a breath of fresh air as it documents Arjun’s character Param and Parineeti’s Jasmeet’s love story.
The song has been primarily filmed in Punjab and depicts Param’s and Jasmeet’s romance through their intense moments and meetings while the lush green fields in the state also feature in Tere Liye. Param and Jasmeet fall for each other after their first meeting and enjoy long bike rides and spend time together often. In fact, Param is also seen visiting her at work in what appears to be an exciting surprise.

We also loved their excitement after Param’s and Jasmeet’s families meet each other and finalise their marriage. It is such a cute scene in which both jump in joy, ecstatic in love. Tere Liye has vocals by Atif Aslam while Javed Akhtar is responsible for the lyrics. The song has been composed by Mannan Shaah.
As far as Arjun’s and Parineeti’s chemistry in Tere Liye is concerned – one word will suffice to describe it and that is effortless. Co-stars of 2012’s Ishaqzaade, Arjun and Parineeti share a great relationship not just onscreen but off it as well – which easily translates on celluloid.
Directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, Namaste England narrates the journey of Jasmeet and Param, and their love story across Punjab to Dhaka, Paris, Brussels and London. The film is scheduled to release on October 19.
