It seems even before the audience gave its verdict to Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyaan, the cast has already received its reward. At a special screening for the film fraternity, the celebrities could not help rave about the performance of the star cast. However, for Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal, the reward came from their co-star Abhishek Bachchan’s legendary father Amitabh Bachchan. Both the actors received a handwritten letter of appreciation and a bouquet of flowers from Big B. Vicky and Taapsee shared their gratitude and excitement on receiving the letter on their respective social media handles.
Taapsee was the first one to take to Instagram to share the news. She posted an adorable click on Monday night. She was captured lying on the floor, holding the letter close to her bosom clutched in her hand. A bunch of flowers lay next to her. She shared an Instagram story as well where she was seen jumping with joy. Taapsee captioned the photo as, “Finally ! THIS LETTER ! A milestone achieved !”

Vicky, on the other hand, followed suit on Tuesday and tweeted the photo of the letter he received along with the bouquet from Big B. Amitabh’s letter to Vicky read, “Vicky, I’ve always admired your work, but your presence and versatility in Manmarziyaan is exceptional. To find such performance, qualities in one such as you, with your limited years in the profession is beyond words. My admiration, love and blessings.”

While Taapsee had shared screen space with Amitabh in Pink and will be seen in Badla as well, Vicky is yet to star in a film with him. However, three years back when he made his debut in Masaan, Amitabh had sent a congratulatory note to Vicky’s father Sham Kaushal. Manmarziyaan releases on September 14.
