It takes a lot of things to fall in place for a film to start work and sometimes things can get delayed because of casting troubles. Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior is one such film. The film has finally begun pre-production work and is set to go on floors soon. However, Ajay Devgn who plays the title role in the film wanted Saif Ali Khan to essay the supporting role. However, reportedly as Saif had vowed to never be a part of a two-hero film in which he is not playing the lead, he was not willing to budge from his stance.
A leading daily reported that Ajay had a tough time convincing his Omkara and Kachche Dhaage co-star to take on the role and finally had to meet him personally to convince him to take up the film. However, no confirmation has come out as yet whether Saif has been cast in the film or not.
