Salman Khan introduces Pranutan Bahl, Nutan’s granddaughter and Mohnish Bahl’s daughter

Bollywood has been abuzz with rumours that Mohnish Bahl’s daughter and granddaughter of legendary actress Nutan, Prautan Bahl is soon going to make her Bollywood debut. It was reported that Pranutan would be launched by none-other-than Salman Khan. Today, the actor took to Twitter to formally announce the same and even gave out details about his venture which will feature Pranutan.

Pranutan will make her debut opposite Zaheer Iqbal, another debutant who is being launched by Salman. The yet-untitled-film is a romance drama that is being directed by Nitin Kakkar. It will be produced by Salman Khan Films (SKF), Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde. Mohnish and Salman share a very close bond as they have starred in a number of hit films like Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Hum Aapke Hain Koun.

On the other hand, Pranutan is on cloud nine as she is being launched by Salman. Talking to a leading daily she said, “I turned emotional when I heard Salman sir is launching me. I hugged my parents and my sister; I will always cherish that moment." Talking about the sky-high expectations and comparisons that she will face because of her grandmother and father, Pranutan told the leading daily, “My parents have taught me to be honest to my work. I know that there will be certain expectations. I promise to work hard to garner the same love and admiration that the audiences showered on my grandmother and father."

She further added, “I always knew movies were my calling. I did believe that completing my education up to a certain point was important. But I knew that I would end up in films.”

Pranutan is the latest star kid on the block who is making her Bollywood debut.
