Ranbir Kapoor is on top of the world at the moment with the success of his June release Sanju. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Sanju is a biopic on Sanjay Dutt and cast Ranbir as the senior actor in the film. Not only was Ranbir applauded for his brilliant show in the film but it was a definite blockbuster as well. Yet, Ranbir is of the opinion that he is “just an average actor and a below-average person”.
In an interview with a leading daily, Ranbir said that he is confident about his skills but refrains from giving himself too much importance. “If somebody is changing, it is fine with me, maybe because I don’t even give myself too much importance. I feel I am just an average actor and a below-average person, who just got great opportunities,” Ranbir told the daily.

The 35-year-old actor is of the opinion that the reason for his success is the fact that he believes in himself.
“Yes, I have good belief and confidence in myself that I can do something. And that’s why I am successful, because otherwise, I am not saving the world. I am just acting in movies so just can’t take it that seriously,” Ranbir added.
Ranbir, son of veteran actors Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, made his debut in the Hindi film industry with Saawariya in 2007 and subsequently starred in the films Wake Up Sid, Raajneeti, Rockstar, Barfi, Tamasha and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Ranbir will be seen next in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, co-starring Alia Bhatt. It will release in 2019. Apart from Brahmastra, Ranbir’s upcoming releases include Shamshera and Luv Ranjan’s film with Ajay Devgn.
