Kaashi Trailer: Sharman Joshi is on a quest to find his missing sister amid conspiracies

It is said that Kaashi and Ganga are synonymous with each other when you take the name of one the other automatically follows and that seems to be the premise of this Sharman Joshi starrer. However, the trailer for the film Kaashi sets it in the genre of a thriller and is a different kind of an ode to the holy city. Sharman plays a distressed brother who is on a quest to find his missing sister Ganga, who disappears into thin air one fine day. However, his real fight starts when some people negate her existence. He is helped in his search by Aishwarya Devan who is making her Bollywood debut with the film.

The trailer shows Sharman taking the legal route to find his sister but it becomes more difficult as the authorities are neither sympathetic nor willing to believe his story of a missing sister. Devan plays a journalist who comes to Sharman’s rescue in trying to unearth the truth about his missing sister. The duo fights red tape, ruthless politicians and local goons to unearth shocking details and sordid truths about Ganga and the life she led behind a screen of normalcy.
