Watch: Shah Rukh Khan nails Anushka Sharma’s Sui Dhaaga challenge but on his own terms

Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma are gearing up for the release of their upcoming film Sui Dhaaga – Made in India and have brought in a new challenge for their Bollywood colleagues while promoting their film. They are going around challenging their friends and colleagues to take up the Sui Dhaaga challenge, in which the participant has to thread a needle in ten seconds.

Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar, Aditya Roy Kapur, Karan Johar and Ranbir Kapoor are a few stars who have already taken up the challenge and while Alia and Ranbir nailed it, Aditya, Akshay and Karan lost royally. However, the best participant was Shah Rukh Khan who was challenged by Anushka and SRK proved once again that he is the king of wits and is the smartest of them all because he found a novel way of winning the challenge.

Shah Rukh very sportingly took up a needle and thread and posted a video of him trying to thread it. However, since Anushka failed to specify the size of the needle he took what looked like a spoke with a big loop at the end and proceeded to put a thick thread which looked like wool through the loop. SRK went on to say that he nailed the challenge in well within the time limit of 10 seconds and in fact, did it in 0.01 seconds and hence it is a new record.

Anushka also conceded defeat and announced that Shah Rukh is the hands-down winner.

Keeping jokes aside SRK wished all the best to Anushka and Varun for their film’s release and showered his love and blessings on his co-stars and Sharat Katariya and Maneesh Sharma. Although Shah Rukh did not nominate anyone to take up the challenge, Karan and Ranbir who had taken the challenge earlier nominated Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh to take up the Sui Dhaaga challenge. Let’s see whether Ranveer and Deepika take this up or not.
