The trailer of Ayushmann Khurrana's and Sanya Malhotra's upcoming film Badhaai Ho has already raised the curiosity around the film. Now adding to the excitement, the makers have released the first song and it is titled Badhaaiyan Tenu. The good news anthem perfectly captures Ayushmann's embarrassment on knowing about his mother’s ill-timed pregnancy.
Sung by Brijesh Shandailya, Romy and Jordan, the song is composed by Tanishk Bagchi and penned by Vayu. The video of the song starts with how the news of Ayushmann's mother (played by Neena Gupta) being pregnant spreads like wildfire. Badhaaiyan Tenu features Ayushmann, Sanya, Neena and Gajraj Rao.

Although the song has a celebratory feel to it, but in this case, it depicts how Ayushmann tries to save himself as everyone congratulates him for the 'khush khabari'. Not just his character, the entire household is shown in a fix as it finds out that the mother of two grown-up children, is expecting again.

Meanwhile, Badhaai Ho is a quirky satirical take on yet another tabooed issue in our society and deals with it in a light-hearted manner. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, this coming-of-age story is slated to release on October 19. Badhaai Ho will clash with the Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra-starrer Namaste England at the box-office.
