Kareena Kapoor Khan is back in the bay after a family getaway to the Maldives. Today, the actress is celebrating her 38th birthday and she brought it in with her family. A few adorable videos and pictures were shared on social media by her sister-in-law Soha Ali Khan. She is also having a good year as her comeback film Veere Di Wedding after a maternity break became a super hit. During a recent interview with a leading daily, the actress spoke about what she looks in a film and also expressed a desire to work with cousin Ranbir Kapoor and his rumoured girlfriend Alia Bhatt.
Kareena was asked during the interaction whether she would like to share the frame with her cousin Ranbir Kapoor who is back in the reckoning after giving a stupendous hit in the form of Sanju. She said, “I would love to do a film with Ranbir, it will be wonderful. The chemistry will be unbelievable. I am deeply fond of him. So, never say never, and hopefully, someone will write a script. I feel Ranbir is one of India’s greatest actors. For me, he is always above the film. I truly believe he is the best. I think both Ranbir and Ranveer Singh will take Hindi cinema to another level.”
She also took Alia’s name as the current lot of actresses with whom she would love to do a film. Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena is preparing to start work on her upcoming films- the magnum opus Takht which has an ensemble cast of Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Anil Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor. She will also be reuniting with Akshay Kumar in Good News. Both the films are being produced by Karan Johar.
