Sonam Kapoor Ahuja's upcoming film, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga has been under speculation since the news of its delayed release caught the air. The film, which will now hit the screens in February 2019, has got everyone second-guessing regarding the real reason behind the delay.

Earlier, the rumors revolving around this suggested that it's because director Vidhu Vinod Chopra wants to reshoot some scenes without giving into the rush.

When inquired about the same by a leading publication, Sonam slammed all rumors by saying, " There’s no plan to reshoot. The movie has been shot and is complete.” She further added, “My look in Ek Ladki... is totally different as I sport long and straight hair in it. I’ve already cut and curled my hair for The Zoya Factor. How can we shoot now? It’s not possible logically.”

Explaining the rationale, Sonam stated, "We weren’t getting a proper release date as every week was booked by some flick or the other. So, everyone took a call to release our film in February 2019,"

Well, that explains it.

Sonam will be seen sharing the silver screen with her daddy dearest Anil Kapoor for the first time with Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. This slice-of-life drama revolving around a Punjabi family produced by Rajkumar Hirani also stars Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla.
