I am staying as far away as possible from Loveyatri: Salman on trying to ease pressure on Aayush

Salman Khan is launching his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma in Loveyatri. The film also stars debutante Warina Hussain and has been making the right kind of noise in the media and amongst the audience with its songs and the trailer. In a recent media interaction at his Galaxy Apartments, Salman spoke about Aayush and the fact that the debutant actor has the added baggage of being related to the superstar and the nepotism angle.

Salman was asked during the interview that Aayush had said that irrespective of whether he was launched by Salman or someone else, he has an 'added baggage' that he must have been backed by the superstar which is a negative aspect of being related to a famous surname or a superstar. To this Salman said, “That’s why I am staying as far away as possible from the film Loveyatri, so much so that my sister thought that I don’t like Aayush and I am not supporting him. When we did Hero with Sooraj Pancholi I did one promotional song. I being associated with a film do not translate into people going and watching the film in theatres. The trailer, the songs, the film has to be good to pique audience interest.”

He further added, “In fact, it was Sohail who first saw Aayush working hard in a gym. Aayush has worked and trained very hard for his debut film. The word ‘nepotism’ does not come into the picture because after all its audience who accept and reject you and make you a star. It’s the audience’s perspective and choice. No matter how many hits you give, one flop may finish you. The industry has become very competitive, which is a good thing.”

For the unversed, Aayush is married to Salman's younger sister Arpita Khan.

Produced by Salman Khan Films, Aayush’s Loveyatri is all set to release on October 5, this year.
