Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh starrer Thugs of Hindostan’s trailer released today and blew everyone away with its visual effects, stunts and larger-than-life magnitude. However, at the trailer launch today the actors spoke about having a great time working together and getting some of their dreams fulfilled.
During the media interaction at the trailer launch, Aamir said on working with Amitabh, “It has been my dream since a long time. I feel happy to be with him in the film.” Talking about sharing screen space with Katrina and Fatima for the second time the actor said, “I loved working with both Katrina and Fatima. With Katrina, ’kuch jyaada hi mazaa aata hai’. Fatty is such a great actor, you all have seen her in Dangal and now wait for her in TOH."
Katrina on the other hand who got applause for her action sequences in Tiger Zinda Hai is playing a different role in the film of a dancer named Suraiya. Taking about her character she said, “Each film has a different character. What I am doing in TOH is very different from Tiger Zinda Hai. As for action training, not much was required for this film.”
On the other hand, Fatima is seen in a fierce avatar where she is wielding a bow and arrow and doing stunts. At the trailer launch, she spoke about working with veteran actor Amitabh with whom she shares many pivotal and integral scenes and said, “Every day for me was like to going to school. While I was doing a scene with Amitabh sir, I just had to give reactions and just by looking at Sir, I started crying. Every moment I used to live in fear that whether I could be able to match up to Sir along with senior actors around me.”
Thugs of Hindostan is slated for a Novemebr 8 release.
