URI teaser: Vicky Kaushal leads Indian army's surgical strikes in this military drama

After impressing us with his performance in Anurag Kashyap's Manmarziyaan, actor Vicky Kaushal is all set to play the lead in URI, a film based on Indian army’s surgical strikes across the Line of Control (LOC) in Pakistan occupied Kashmir on September 29, 2016. Now on the second anniversary of the military operation, the makers of the film have released the much-anticipated teaser of the film and it is enough to give you goosebumps.

The teaser begins with a depiction of attacks carried out by terrorists on the 12 Infantry Headquarters in Uri, that left 19 soldiers dead on September 18, 2016. It later shifts to a hard-hitting scene with a voice-over by Paresh Rawal, who recounts that India has always maintained its stance of never attacking the enemy country first. But soon sets the tone of the teaser right by saying, "Yeh Naya Hindustan Hai Yeh Hindustan Ghar Mein Ghusega Bhi Aur Maarega Bhi (This is the new India, it will not only enter the house of its enemies but will also kill them)."
