Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who shares a warm and close relationship with the Kapoor family and whose daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda is married to Raj Kapoor's eldest daughter Ritu Nanda's son Nikhil, reached the family's Chembur residence to offer condolences on the demise of late Krishna Raj Kapoor.
Shweta was also seen accompanying his father.
Kareena was seen at the doorstep to receive Big B and Shweta. However, considering the past between the two has been bitter (Karisma was earlier supposed to get married to Abhishek Bachchan), the two families buried the hatchet a few years back. Karisma and Shweta were recently seen at an event, meeting like old friends.
Big B was also seen embracing Kareena in a warm hug, offering his last respects.
