Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas made their relationship official on August 18 this year with a roka ceremony in Mumbai. While their sudden engagement came as a surprise to many, actress Parineeti Chopra, who cannot wait to steal Nick's shoes at the wedding ceremony, recently admitted that she knew that there was someone special in her sister's life.

Revealing how Nick had come to India before the engagement to seek permission from Priyanka's mother Madhu Chopra, Parineeti said in an interview with a leading magazine, "When she (Priyanka) told me he was coming to India with her, I knew something serious was going on between them. I met him. There were only eight to ten of us that night. I was the only one from the family, rest were Priyanka’s friends." It was then that Priyanka had introduced Nick to the Chopra family and they took a trip to Goa with Parineeti and PeeCee's brother Siddharth Chopra in tow.

Parineeti also talked about how she got to know about their engagement on the day Nick proposed to Priyanka in London. "The day he proposed to her, it was her birthday. I got a missed call from her at 3 am. I knew she was holidaying. I Facetimed her. She showed me the ring and I almost fainted. Both Priyanka and Nick were there on call. They were like we had to tell you first. I started crying on the call. It became all emotional and beautiful," she added.

Meanwhile, Priyanka and Nick have not yet officially revealed their wedding date.
