A video footage from the sets of the 2008 film Horn Ok Pleasss became viral which shows a mob attacking actress Tanushree Dutta’s car while she is sitting inside petrified. The actress has accused Nana Patekar of sexual harassment and intimidation on the sets of the film. She also said that the actor called up goons from the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) party to intimidate the actress. The video shows the mob breaking her windshield and not letting her vehicle move.
A man wearing an orange striped T-Shirt was particularly visible in the video hitting the car and trying to deflate the tyres of the car. PeepingMoon.com has found out the man in the video who is a media person and not affiliated to the said political party. The man in the video is named Pawan Bharadwaj who was at that time working for a news channel.

Pawan said that the video is true but he resorted to deflating the car’s tyres because apparently, her father had broken his camera and the actress wanted to flee the scene without any apology. Bharadwaj accepted that Tanushree’s parents were also present on the sets that day. He said that he fought with the actress not because of Nana Patekar or MNS workers but for the treatment meted out to him.

However, Tanushree refuted his claims and said, “There was a lie that was spun by the four culprits; Nana, Ganesh Acharya, director Rakesh Sarang and producer Sami Siddique as well as their supporters on set and outside the set; The MNS party who were called to mob and attack me. The lie was that someone from our side did something to instigate that attack and that it was an altercation between us and media. It was a lie to cover up and justify the heinous nature of the attack. That lie is still being perpetrated. Do not fall for that and get distracted. I urge everyone to find old footage from archives and go through them. Also, MNS is not just a party but an ideology like Al-Queda or ISIS they are a violent disruptive communal, intolerant ideology and anyone from any profession can pledge allegiance to it. So please check facts before jumping to conclusions.”

Tanushree’s claims have been supported by journalist Janice Sequeira and assistant director Shiny Shetty. Even actress Daisy Shah who was assisting Ganesh Acharya for the song accepted that there were some issues regarding the actress. Tanushree has received support from many Bollywood celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Parineeti Chopra, Swara Bhasker, Renuka Shahane, Richa Chadha, Twinkle Khanna etc.
