Today is a special day as it is the birth anniversary of our Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Born on October 2, 1869, in Gujarat’s Porbandar to Putlibai and Karamchand Gandhi, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi became Mahatma to the world with his ideas, philosophies and the contribution to the freedom of the nation without resorting to violence.
