Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor recently started shooting for her forthcoming film based on the life of Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal. The biopic, produced by Bhushan Kumar, is being helmed by ace director Amole Gupte. But now it looks the actress has reportedly taken a break from work after being diagnosed with dengue.
A source from the sets informed a leading daily, "Shraddha started feeling unwell a few days into the schedule. She stopped shooting on September 27 after a checkup revealed that she has dengue." The source further added that Shraddha is expected to return to the film’s set in a couple of days and in the meantime, Amole will shoot the scenes that features the child actor who portrays the younger Saina.

On a related note, Bhushan Kumar confirmed the news of the actress' illness as well, and revealed to the daily, "Shraddha has had a busy schedule for months now and that seems to have taken a toll on her health. All of us empathise with her situation." He said that the team will soon get an update on her health as she is keen to get back to work as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Shraddha had earlier revealed that she feels lucky to be a part of the biopic and has been putting all her efforts to be in her best form. Well, we cannot wait to see how this one plays out.
On the work front, Shraddha's recent projects Stree and Batti Gul Meter Chalu are now in theaters.
