Kangana Ranaut lashes out at Sonam Kapoor: Who gave her the right to judge me?

The #MeToo movement in India is currently in full force and several women from different walks of life have called out men for sexual harassment. After similar allegations were put on Vikas Bahl, co-owner of Phantom Films, by a former woman employee, actress Kangana Ranaut opened up about the filmmaker's behaviour in an interview with a leading portal. However, the issue has completely taken a different route, with Kangana slamming Sonam Kapoor for judging her story.

Speaking at Vogue We the Women Summit in Bengaluru on Sunday, Sonam opened up about the Tanushree Dutta-Nana Patekar controversy and applauded the actress' courage to speak up about her ordeal. Furthermore, when asked about Kangana’s #MeToo story, she said that sometimes it is difficult to take the fellow actress seriously. "I love the fact that she has spunk and she says what she believes. I really respect for that. I don’t know him, I don’t know the situation. If what is written what is written is true, then it’s disgusting and awful. If it’s true, then they should be punished for it,” Sonam said for Kangana.

Now responding to Sonam, Kangana lashed out at her by saying, "What does she mean by saying,'it's hard to believe Kangana'? When I am sharing my Me Too story, who gives her a right to judge me? So, Sonam Kapoor has the license of trusting some women and some she won’t. What makes her so unsure of my claims? I am known to be an articulate person and I have represented my country in many international summits. I am called as a thought and youth influencer to these summits, I am not known because of my dad I have earned my place and credibility after struggling for a decade."

She added that Sonam is neither a great actress nor she has the reputation of being a good speaker and vowed to 'demolish all filmy people'. Now we wonder what Sonam has to say about this!
