Kajol’s film Helicopter Eela releases tomorrow and the mother-of-two shares a certain kind of affinity to her onscreen role of a doting mother. She plays a single mother who keeps a close watch on her son played by Riddhi Sen. In an interview given to a leading daily, the actress spoke about her equation with her children - daughter Nysa Devgn and son Yug Devgn. She also revealed that it was Nysa who made her join social media.
Kajol revealed that Nysa and she share a great bond wherein she can just pick up the phone and call her and rant about how bad her day was. However, she also revealed that Nysa insisted that she join social media so that she can take her brand further and be in touch with her fans. Kajol said in the interview, “Nysa was the one who put me on Instagram and gave me a 15 minutes lecture.”

She further added, “Imagine, she was 13 then and she was teaching me what it means to be a brand and what all one needs to do to build a brand. I was like, ‘I don’t know anything about Instagram’. And she said, ‘I am your admin and I am with you’. For the first year, she was clicking photos of me, putting them up on Instagram.”
It hardly comes as a surprise that it was Nysa who taught Kajol the nitty-gritty’s of social media provided that it is a young medium and millennials and youngsters make the most rampant use of it.
