Vikas Bahl’s wife calls out Kangana for her statement on the director, says do not misuse #MeToo

Filmmaker Vikas Bahl who has been accused of grave sexual misconduct and sexual harassment charges by a female employee of Phantom Films has found little support amongst his Bollywood colleagues. Kangana Ranaut who played the lead in his film Queen and Nayani Dixit who also starred in the film have come forward to talk about the sexist attitude that he has. They also accused him of sexual harassment and inappropriate behaviour. In fact, actress Saloni Chopra also revealed his sexist attitude in her blog.

However, Vikas has found support from his wife Richa Dubey who called out to Kangana and rebuked her for misusing #MeToo. She released a nine-point statement that questions Kangana’s statement about Vikas. The allegations levied against Vikas were so severe that Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane and Madhu Mantena decided to dissolve Phantom Films.

Vikas has been losing work steadily since the allegations came to fore. His name has been dropped from Kabir Khan’s ’83 that stars Ranveer Singh in the lead. Hrithik Roshan who plays the male lead in his upcoming film Super 30 also issued a statement that he would not like to work with someone with such “grave sexual misconduct” and asked the producers to take harsh steps.
