Alia Bhatt is one of the most popular, acclaimed and loved actresses of the young generation. The bubbly, chirpy, innocent actress is a powerhouse of talent and has become a darling of not only the masses but also her seniors in the industry and her peers. Today, the actress took to social media to share a video where she spoke about her elder sister Shaheen Bhatt and her debut book with a video.
Shaheen is the lesser known daughter of Mahesh Bhatt. She is not an actress unlike Alia or her elder half-sibling Pooja Bhatt and stays away from the arc lights and the media glare. However, she has recently opened up about battling depression from the age of 12 and having tried to commit suicides when she was younger. Shaheen has a literary bent of mind and has published her first book I’ve Never Been (Un)Happier. Alia after reading the book posted a heartfelt video about how she liked the book and what feelings she underwent while reading and after completing the book.

The video shows Alia sharing throwback pictures and videos of herself with Shaheen and talks about the struggle that Shaheen went through due to her depression. She also spoke about how she could not understand at first why her sister would prefer watching TV at home rather go out and have dinner with family. However, Alia reassures Shaheen that she will always be there for her all her life.
