Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is not only known for her acting prowess but also for her fearless and outspoken nature. She is all set to impress the audience yet again with her fierce avatar of Rani Lakshmibai in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The teaser of the magnum opus was released recently and Kangana managed to do justice to the valour, grit, and determination of the iconic warrior queen.
Now as cast and crew of the Manikarnika wrapped up the film's shoot on Monday night, Kangana couldn't help but compare her difficult journey with that of Rani Lakshmibai. During an interaction with the media at the wrap-up party, she revealed how she doesn't want her kids to live through the same. "It's not a kind of life you will wish upon anybody that you like or anybody that you love. And the same with my life, I wouldn't want my children to have the kind of life that I have had or I am having," the actress said.

Further stating how she had to fight for literally everything since she was born, Kangana added, "That is the similarity between us, I don't get anything without fighting. So, that's fine if you ask me I am neither proud or ashamed, I am just okay with the way my life is."
Meanwhile, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi has been grabbing a lot of attention ever since Kangana took over the reins of the film in order to complete the patchwork after Krish got busy with his other film. The period film further created a buzz when Sonu Sood backed out of it owing to his professional commitment towards Simmba, but Kangana stated that the actor "refused to work under a woman director".
Produced by Zee Studios and Kamal Jain, Manikarnika is slated to release on January 25, 2019.
