Karan Johar’s debut film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai completed 20 years today and to celebrate the joyous occasion the filmmaker held a bash for the cast of the film. The bash was attended by his friends from the industry as well. However, Karan and Shah Rukh Khan revealed that the film that is one of the most popular films of the late 90s and shaped an entire generation had some downright creepy scenes.
During the media interaction, Shah Rukh said, “Now Kuch Kuch Hota Hai makes me feel like a creep, a girl in each arm especially the scene where I am hugging one girl and holding the other and lustfully and very cheaply looking at this girl whose saree’s palloo flies off, very creepy. It’s quite wrong. Even the title is double meaning.” However, he did agree that the film is special and said, “I am the luckiest man in the world to be kissed by two women, on each cheek, whenever I meet them.” SRK was obviously talking about his co-stars Rani Mukerji and Kajol.

Even Karan agreed in a recent interview that Rahul’s character in KKHH was not praiseworthy as he was definitely a selfish prick. Karan also spoke about the Kajol’s saree palloo flying scene and said, “It is objectification, its wrong.” He also mentioned how the whole philosophy of Shah Rukh’s character Rahul about falling in love once and getting married once was fraudulent because he ended up doing it twice in the film.
