A few days back, director Punit Malhotra shared a picture with choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan and singer-composers Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani, as they dropped by the sets of his upcoming directorial, Student of the Year 2. Apparently, the trio visited the shoot when the leads Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria, were shooting for a song. And now we hear that Farah, Vishal and Shekhar will make a special appearance in the film.

Confirming the news to a leading daily, Farah stated that they will appear as judges during a dance contest sequence in SOTY 2. "Yes, I have a special appearance in the sequel, like I did in the original film, as a judge for the dance contest. Punit, who is a close friend, requested me to do it. Karan’s (Johar) production house is home to me,” she informed. Reportedly, the song sequence has been choreographed by none other than Remo D’souza.
Incidentally, Farah had also featured as a judge in Student of the Year, which marked the Bollywood debut of Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. So, it would be a delight to see her in the sequel as well.
Meanwhile, apart from the three leads, Gul Panag has been roped in to play the role of a sports coach in Student of the Year 2, which is slated to release on May 10, 2019.
